Frequently Asked Questions
What You Need To Know
How long do the appointments take?
The first appointment for new patients take about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Subsequent follow up appointments are approximately 20 minutes.
Are your services covered by OHIP or Insurance?
All healthcare providers that practice BHRT in Canada are not covered by OHIP. We accept Interac payments and most major credit cards — Master Card and Visa. Lab/blood tests for hormone and thyroid evaluation are covered by OHIP.
Where are you located?
You can find us in the strip mall on the west side of Ritson Rd. directly across from the old Five Points Mall, just south of Taunton Rd. See Map. There is ample parking including handicap spaces.
Do I need a referral?
No. You do not need a referral. The healthcare provider will do a baseline hormone measurement, discuss clinical treatment protocols using BHRT and determine frequency of hormone follow-up testing to individualize your hormone therapy.
